Cognitive Neuroscience · Poster
A poster presented at the Canadian Society for Brain, Behaviour and Cognitive Science, testing whether bilingualism-related variables predict the brain age gap in cognitively unimpaired older adults. Using T1-weighted MRI brain-age modelling on 44 English–French bilinguals, language entropy emerged as the only significant predictor.

Assisted in conducting research investigating the cognitive and neural mechanisms underlying bilingualism, contributing to understanding how language acquisition affects brain structure and function.

Built a dedicated perinatal resource page from scratch for a midwife at the South East Ottawa Community Health Centre. This project was turned into a QR code clients can scan to reach everything they need about perinatal care, now live on the SEOCHC site.

A finely tuned Neovim configuration for academic writing and LaTeX preparation, featuring custom snippets and live preview for taking notes at a faster speed.

A near-live speech transcription tool built on OpenAI's Whisper. It segments audio on natural pauses and processes the chunks in the background, delivering accurate transcription with minimal delay.

Designed and hosted an interactive anatomy lesson, with arts and crafts using Q-tips and paint, at the South East Ottawa Community Health Centre playgroup, making medical ideas fun for toddlers.

Biodegradable smart wound dressings for real-time infection detection, pairing mycelium biomaterials with pH-responsive indicators that signal a wound's shift toward infection.
